talent time audition~~

well, i went for audition for talent time yesterday evening...it was rainning really heavy in the late afternoon and i needed to get guitar for SB..i spend like half an hour waiting for the bus...and about 10 min waiting for a taxi to rush down...the unfortunate thing was that on my my way to the audition (which was then like 10 minutes away), i kept bumping into red lights...i was really nervous in the taxi...and i was praying for God's help...when i finally got there, i was 3 minutes late...but to my relief, it did not really matter if you came on time---it was based on a first-come-first-serve basis...
well anyway...the audition room was real big...there were 5 judges and a group of live audiences...from the audiences' seat, i thought the mic was really loud, but when i was on the stage, i could hardly hear my mic(guess the loud speaker was far from the stage)...me and SB were suppose to seat on stools and facing each other so as to have eye contact during the performance...however due to the position of the stools and the mic stand the backstage proplr have set up, i could only see her back...so the singing and the guitar didnot blend in as it should be...and the tempo was a bit fast :(
however,i still think that it was a wonderfull experience...not only becauseof the fun time we spent at practices, but also because that i found myself much more relaxed on stage...i still remember the days when i got up on stage totally frozen and try to remain cool by taking off my specs so that i wont see the audience..but yesterday, i was totally relax on the stage---i make eye contact with the audience, no trembling voices, i even swung with the music...with my contact lens on!! that was a real big and surprising improvement for me!!
i m really grateful for all the opportunities that i had to perform in public...they really helped me to build up confidence and be ready to face the crowds...so whatever the outcome of the audition is gonna be, i still praise God for the experience and this opportunity for me to grow again!

ok, you can see clearly that it has been a long time since i last updated my blog...well its not like i m busy, well i myself am not aware of how good i am at wasting my time...well anyway...i have already applied for courses at NUS and NTU...BBA is the first chioce...and also, i signed up for a couple of scholarships...hope that i can get call backs real soon!!!God bless me~~
